The L Family {Heirloom Session}

I know I've said this before, but these Heirloom Sessions have my heart. Their granddaughter set up this session after we did the same thing with her other set of grandparents last year.  I'm so thankful that she and other people are seeing the value and beauty of capturing their family in this way.  This isn't about big extended family photos.  This is about capturing details of their life and space.  I feel like I missed 382 things for this one because there were just so many beautiful spaces, indoors and out. More than the allure of this physical place, though, was the beauty of this couple. The whole experience felt downright magical. The history of the farm, the stories of their loved ones and the amount of hard work they have put into restoring this place to what it once was. . .  SERIOUS MAGIC.  And an amazing labor of love.  What a gift they are giving to their family.  Thank you Gerry and Reuben for opening up and sharing this place with me.  It was an absolute honor and my pleasure to spend time with all of you!
